Foothills Kite Club is a Denver, Colorado area group of kite flyers, makers, buggiers, and enthusiasts. We support local, regional and national kite festivals. Check the events page for more information on festivals you may be interested in. The Arvada Kite Festival is going to be held on April 14, 2007. Come join us for a day of fun, contests, flying demos and instruction. Check the events page for more info. April 21st we will be flying in Castle Rock at Four Winds Park. See the events page for directions. We also meet on the second Sunday of every month for an informal kite fly. We are currently flying at Robby Ferrufino Park, 74th & Carr, in Arvada. Flying times pretty much depend on the winds, come as early and stay as late as you like. It's a great way to get to know fellow kite flyers and have a chance to try out kites. Good Winds!!
